Who can say it better than the founder:
MY FAMILY FLED CZARIST-CONTROLLED LITHUANIA IN 1906
“They strongly desired to assimilate into American society, but kept alive familiar Lithuanian traditions and customs, including making flavorful liqueurs. The tradition of crafting fine liqueurs has been passed from generation to generation, and we are pleased to share our unique liqueur with you.
Saxtons River Distillery Vermont spirits combine old-world heritage with the flavor of Vermont. I gained appreciation for maple syrup while living in Vermont and visiting the sugar houses of friends in spring.
Understanding the amount of work required to produce quality maple syrup has given me profound respect for the final product. With a nod to family tradition and the tradition of Vermont, I offer you the unique taste of Saxtons River Distillery spirits.”

For many decades Baltic Americans found refuge from Czarist and then Soviet occupation in the US. Those forced to flee their homelands were the cornerstone of grassroots activism the continuation of cultural activities through the years of Soviet occupation. We encourage the next generation of Baltic origin Americans to fully embrace the ongoing need to continue cultural and educational awareness in the United States. It is up to us to carry forward the torch of activism to ensure that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania never again lose their freedom, particularly in the face of aggression by Russia in Ukraine and threats and malign action against the Baltic states.
The League carries out its activities through public discussions, dissemination of information to the public, press and government about Baltic American concerns, seminars, meetings with government and elected officials and educational campaigns aimed at academic and political institutions.

Tryzub means trident — it is the coat of arms of Ukraine
It symbolizes the national identity of each Ukrainian as well as Ukraine’s millennium-long fight for freedom. The largest tryzub in the world is built into the brickwork of our four-story building. Here, you can admire thousand-year-old historic artifacts, handmade embroidery, and wood inlays — while browsing photos and Ukrainian books from personal family archives.
